Drawing a portrait
Don't let this scare you. We are going to take this one step at a time to learn how to draw portraits. There are some videos, some demonstrations, some handouts, and more. Realize that if you have not drawn faces before, your first few are going to look a little like aliens. And that's OK!!! Until you have more practice drawing faces that's just how it is. Everyone goes through that.

So now you have an idea of how a portrait is built. before we start let's try making facial features one at a time before we try to draw them all together on the face. Watch each video below and give them a try. Use sketch paper in your binder and draw the following on separate sheets of paper:
* Draw ears 3 times
* Draw 3 noses
* Draw 3 lips
* Draw 3 eyes
You will need reference pictures to look at for these drawings so that you are not just making it up. Look in your binder for reference images.
